Project requirements

Since 2017 you can swim under the sun at the Marnixbad in Amsterdam. The placement of 125 solar panels makes it possible to heat the swimming water, but also to contribute to a cleaner and greener Amsterdam for generations to come, which is what the Marnixbad believes in.

Our solution and support

The Marnixbad in Amsterdam is the first project that has been fully provided by Zoncoalitie. This was the first step towards the sunny city of Amsterdam with 1 million solar panels and our dream became a bit more reality. Zoncoalitie has applied for a subsidy for the Marnixbad, conducted various technical feasibility studies and provided advice on the possibilities surrounding solar panels. This enabled us to determine a suitable provider for them and the cooperation with SunProjects started.

To provide the Marnixbad with sustainable energy, they opted for the installation of solar panels. Zoncoalitie has established the collaboration with SunProject based on their wishes. As a result, the solar power project was successfully completed in 2017.
